Be a quitter!
At the age of 22 Kelie-Marie McDermott
had more reason than most to quit smoking.
She was four months pregnant when her
GP referred her to our smoking cessation counsellor.
Kelie-Marie started smoking when she was just 15 and
was on 30 a day when she contacted us.
‘I didn’t get on with nicotine replacement
therapy,’ says Kelie, ‘so I used lollipops
for the first four weeks, just so I could have something
in my mouth.
‘I can’t stand the smell of smoke around
me now. I feel much better in myself.’
